ransmission grids out of control! After the entire german protection engineering community met on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Maritim Hotel in Berlin to celebrate this year's "Tutorial Schutz- und Leittechnik", our transmission networks used the time to do some sport. Considering the upcoming tasks for the grids, exercises for muscle building appear to be quite useful. We are excited about this great trend in our transmission networks.
Furthermore, the fact that the net swings have finally become visible to everyone seems to make sense. Automatic reclosing concepts and the logics of our out of step functions have to be extended in the short term. In the future, we will not only differentiate between up- and down oscillating swings, but also between so-called rope-lifting swings. At the very latest, the first white papers should be on the table. We are curious to see if we are able to handle this new type of "network-sport" with our secondary concepts.
